Miron on same-sex marriage (June 30, 2006)

Jeffrey Alan Miron nails my analysis of same-sex marriage practically word for word. He scores some good points about the decision process:

  1. The courts should not decide this question. It is too contentious.
  2. Civil unions are a good compromise that everyone should consider.
  3. Should the government really define marriage, anyway?
